Whats with black hair care shops not being owned by blacks?

Not barbers, but the product shops for hair care. Ive never seen one owned by blacks, always asians. This is rough for me when I shop for my kids items, cause I dont know what to get and cant understand them when I ask for something. I would think a black entrepreneur could make a fortune opening a store that specializes in product they know so much about..

I don’t know where you live, but in my town there are two that I can think of right off the top. Both are owned by Black women. One specializes in hair care products for all types of hair. The other is a beauty salon. That’s just the two, I know of, there is probably more.

That’s often the case, ESPECIALLY places that do nails, too. Of course, a hair-care professional should be able to cut all kinds of hair. But BARBERSHOPS that specifically cater to black men are almost always owned by black men.
