Hello everyone! Do you know this site http://www.mac-cosmetics-outlets.com? I was surfing in internet when I’ve found this site. I didn’t know it ° – ° and also seems to me Very strange that there is a discount product of MAC, Benefit, and other expensive brands who we usually pay much more. Have you ever used / heard something about this site? It could be one of the many "crooks" that fake products or not?

Every MAC product that i’ve owned has broken. All eyeshadows have cracked, shattered, or completely de-potted within 2 months after buying, and my pro-longwear concealer bottle shattered when it fell off of a shelf, and into the sink. A blush, also, almost completely de-potted. Im just wondering why this is. I know they were genuine MAC products, as i purchased them in a MAC Cosmetics store, i was not exceptionally rough with any of the products, and you’d think that even so they could take a bit of a knocking around. I’d never previously dropped any of these products, so im curious as to why the packaging and product seems so..poor quality. No doubt they’re good quality products , but for the money if theyre going to break so easily.. opinions? similar experiences? do i just need to be more careful? how?
As i stated before: i am not rough with my makeup. I store everything in organized drawers, and the things that i use most often are kept on a shelf thats maybe a foot above the sink. Which is where the concealer fell from – the shelf is not overly crowded, it was not jostled off, it was just mistakenly nudged by my hand whilst putting another product back. (Yes, i know this was my fault. I am just confused as i thought the glass may have been thicker? Or Something to prevent it from completely shattering the first and only time it was ever dropped…)

i went on a job interview today at MAC cosmetics at their pro store in nyc…it was a job fair.
i brought my portfolio and resume. she checked out my resume but didnt see my portfolio.
as far as the interview process, i think i did good. For example, a question : what is good customer service? answer : having product knowledge and being able to help the customer make the best decisions for them. having a friendly and helpful attitude.
i just got stuck on one question which was do you know what the current trends in make up are? …i had no idea.
i brought my model. i was told by the manager in the store in NJ that i applied at that I had to bring in a model. so i can do a make up look on her. I seen a couple other girls actually brought their model, but I didnt get to see if they got to do their makeup because I was first in line and I was sent home first. I never heard of a person that got interviewed by MAC that didnt have to do their make up part.
So i am a little confused and worried. I think I did great in the interview except that one question. The lady said that they will give me a call back within the week.
Do you think that I aced the interview? I am very anxious and worried.

I recently bought oyster girl lipglass at a CCO, which sells Mac cosmetics at discount prices as well as items from past collections. When they gave me my new lipglass, I noticed it looked a little cracked an separated. Opinions please?

When you work with mac cosmetics do they get free products from the new collects? Also how much of a discount do they get?

I went to Mac Cosmetics & got a makeover, including lip gloss. I noticed a few hours later, the outside left corner of my lip was stinging really bad & a little red. I’ve never had a reaction to any of their products before. The lady cleaned all of the products b4 using them on me. Is it possible that I could have gotten a cold sore or something from other ppl using the product? It is the lip gloss that is for long term wear called "Pro Longwear Lipcolour." So I was browsing some online shops on facebook and I saw one online shop selling mac cosmetics for a very cheap price for example she’s selling mac pink nouveau for only or (400php) so i asked her why her products is so cheap and she told me that "her products are old stocks that have crease and dents on the packaging sometimes theres no box and that they got it from a canadian warehouse sale by invite to "some" MAC Pro artists usually during the months of December, June September, and February usually they price it 3 for 20$, pigments 3 for 9$."

is this true? is there really a canadian warehouse sale and what do mac do to there old stocks.
