i have a relaxer. so can someone give me some good hair products. and should i use wrap lotion everyday if im going to wrap my hair everynight? should i wash my hair once a week or every 2 weeks??

I heard that this is a store for professionals and that they sell professional treatment products there, but the stuff there is so cheap, i mean how is that even possible..are they good quality? make up, hair products and all the other things? why are they so cheap is its really good? and how is quality between MAC and stuff they sell at sally’s different?

What are some good hair products to use on natural black hair? B&B lotion does well for me.

I think this is funny how terribly racist these people are, yet claim that they are not..what is even more crazy is that non-whites(mostly black) don’t think these people are racist..

The only difference is hair products is the level of moisturizer…if you have dry hair(no matter what type of hair you have) a moisturizing product will work best.

I love hair products that smell like coconuts or similar tropical fragrances. Has anyone found a conditioner like this at Sally’s Beauty Supply? And how did it work? Drugstore stuff like herbal essences or Organix have never worked for me.

I’m planning to buy some hair products from there, but I want to know if you need a professional license to shop there. So can anyone buy from there?

Alright folks, before I get nailed to the cross as some white racist kkk let me at least explain. Many black people have hair that’s very different in texture from everyone else. So they tend to use allot of hair products compared to other people. When it comes to hair care products blacks in North America spend more then any other group. Plus to anyone who has ever dated a black person they would know most black people do not shampoo their hair as often as other people. It dries their hair out. So maybe that sterotype of black people smelling came from the assumption that because they don’t shampoo their hair as often they must smell. See where I’m going with this?
Where do you think this specific racist line of thought that all black people smell came from?

Does Carol Daughter Hair products make your hair grow.. Im trying to find something for my cousin who had long hair at birth but is having an hard time now with getting it to grow up (she is in her early 30′s) I have been told that it does and I have an friend that uses it who says it does, but I need more information.. I am not African American, but my husband and family are, so I need some advice on hair care products for my step daughter. I have bought her Motions hair lotion and hair cream and it seems to be making her hair really soft, but this weekend when she visited her biological mom, she told me that her hair was really dry and suggested putting grease in her hair. For some reason I just don’t see why grease is better than conditioners. Could someone please explain why hair grease would be better than a condition for a black woman, and reccommend some good hair products for permed hair?
PS My step daughter is 14 years old
She is not biracial, her biological mother and father are both black. She is my step-daughter, but I am here full time. She lives with me and her father, and he works so I am her primary care-giver.

ive got thick black medium length size hair. i do need to grow it longer i know. but how do you get it to stay in one place for so long? hair straightners? what type of hair products?

ive been taking good care of my hair for years, but I’m feeling that theres more out good stuff out there that i haven’t tried. i would appreciate some tips or just information on what you do to your hair to make it grow healthy. please don’t give me any sites, ive been to a lot, and now am just searching for advice from random people out there.
maybe theres something rare that you do to your hair and it really works..stuff like that. i don’t want hair products either, unless they’re natural and organic. ( ive used every product i thought might help, and now moving on to home recipes.)
