Black Hair Care Products !?

I’m a Black female with long hair. It’s 3 inches above my backside. I always get the stupid "What are you mixed with" question, lol. & the answer is black and more black!. Lately I have been leaving it out and people have been running their hands through it but for some reason it’s been feeling dry and I’m starting to get split ends. I usually do my hair myself and I cut it every week, but I know I need to do something else with it & with work and school it’s usually put up in a bun like my avatar. So any tips? On managing split ends and dealing with dry hair? Any good Black Hair Care or good hair care products out there?

Any tips?

BTW, I use Dr. Miracles, Castor Oil and Carrot Oil.

I am in desperate need of a GOOD hair cut. I don’t have a ton of money to spend so I am going to go to Regis Hair Salon. But I want to find the best stylist they have to cut my hair. What is the best brand of hair for weaving Black women?

For the first time in my life I got a sown in weave. I loved it, until it started tangling, and knotting up, then the hair would come out in droves when I combed it. I want to know what is the best BRAND of hair weave should I buy. I think I bought a brand called "Premium" it said no tangle, IT WAS A BIG LIE. "Premium" cost me about 30 for 14inches.I cant reuse the hair, because it kept coming out when I combed it so I learned to glue the track first before I sown it in. If I wear my hair down with in minutes it would knotted up. HEELLLPPP. I don’t care about cost, I just want a product I can be happy with and the texture of the hair I don’t want it to look to white when the hair is to to straight or has that "white" look it tends to look fake. What brand do Tyra or Mary J use can women of colour recommend a good hair brand for me to buy.

Hair products for black child's hair and how to look after it?

My daughter is fully black (as am I) and I’m having a real problem with her hair, I just don’t know how to care for it. She’s 6 and my sister plaits her hair for me but I’m really starting to worry about using grease/petroleum based products in her hair and would like to use natural essential oils. She has very thick coarse hair which grows very well but I have tried coconut oil and it seems to just completely dry out her hair, I’m starting Olive Oil hot treatments once a week. So my question is what is a good hair care regime and what products are good to keep in moisture please. Also I heard that Soft n Free curl activator lotion is good for natural hair, is this true?

What kind of hair products are good for a black person?

I am not African American, but my husband and family are, so I need some advice on hair care products for my step daughter. I have bought her Motions hair lotion and hair cream and it seems to be making her hair really soft, but this weekend when she visited her biological mom, she told me that her hair was really dry and suggested putting grease in her hair. For some reason I just don’t see why grease is better than conditioners. Could someone please explain why hair grease would be better than a condition for a black woman, and reccommend some good hair products for permed hair?
PS My step daughter is 14 years old
She is not biracial, her biological mother and father are both black. She is my step-daughter, but I am here full time. She lives with me and her father, and he works so I am her primary care-giver.
