I’m a Black female with long hair. It’s 3 inches above my backside. I always get the stupid "What are you mixed with" question,lol. & the answer is black and more black!. Lately I have been leaving it out and people have been running their hands through it but for some reason it’s been feeling dry and I’m starting to get split ends. I usually do my hair myself and I cut it every week, but I know I need to do something else with it & with work and school it’s usually put up in a bun like my avatar. So any tips? On managing split ends and dealing with dry hair? Any good Black Hair Care or good hair care products out there?

Any tips?

BTW, I use Dr. Miracles, Castor Oil and Carrot Oil.

The product I saw on the site is Gigi strip free honee wax, are they similar? And could I use it on my upper lip?

My hair is beyond damaged from heat, curling irons & flat irons to the point that my hair is constantly breaking, and i had bought this hair protein and vitamins hair treatment, and i found out now, that its for black hair …. can i still use it? its called JustNatural Organic Hair Care; Proteins & Vitamins Hair Treatment.

What are some good hair products to use on natural black hair? B&B lotion does well for me.

My hair is medium length , & i do the same hairstyle all the time , ( ponytail or , down ) .

Hello guys. I’m a broke college student, but willing to pay 100, or a little over 100, for a good cut & color. My hair is VERY long, and I’m finally ready to cut it for the summer. I also want to lighten my hair a bit, because it’s very dark brown/black.. and I want it chocolate brown. I use to go to a salon called Regis in Lincolnwood Mall (near the Chicago area) but then the girl who used to cut my hair a few years ago. 2 years ago when I went to get my prom hair I was really disappointed with the work and employees they have now.

I’m new to this country & was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hair done (along the lines of perms and hair weaves)? By the way, I am a young black woman.

I’m changing up my look from short hair to long hair because I’m a little bored of having the same haircut. I want to grow it out long. I want to know if there are any "long hair" hairstyles for black men other than dreadlocks.

If you can only think of dreads, is there anyway to make them neat and not nappy? such as this pic:

Last time I went they shampooed & conditioned my hair before cutting it, is that free? Because I’d rather do that at my house and save money. Oh and how much is a haircut or trim there, like around 30 bucks? I paid around 30 last time with a shampoo, pretty expensive.
